I have a solar system for my hot water heater. The hot water heater is in the garage. I recently came home and water was pouring off the garage roof. One of the panels had burst. Turns out they were only a couple months out of warranty.
Go figure right?
I called the solar company to come out look and give me an estimate. My husband paid the service technician cash. He got a receipt but he's not good about keeping track of things.
About 45 days later I received a bill from the solar company for the service call at an inflated rate and with fees added for non payment at the time of visit.
Thanks to my training I was able to write a single short letter that sent the solar company packing never to be heard from again! This could have cost hundreds of dollars had I not known EXACTLY how to handle it. ~ Sabrina Watson
